Welcome to DiscoAux! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DiscoAux website, including any related services, features, content, or applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service DiscoAux is a platform that allows users to connect their Spotify accounts through an API after authorization. Once connected, users can host parties and invite others to join. During a party, users can vote on songs, and the song with the most votes will be played through the host's Spotify account. 2. Account Registration and Use 2.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. 2.2. Registration: To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. 3. Spotify Integration 3.1. Authorization: By connecting your Spotify account to DiscoAux, you authorize DiscoAux to access and use your Spotify account information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. 3.2. Usage: You may only use the Spotify integration feature of the Service in compliance with Spotify's Terms of Service and any other applicable terms and policies. 4. Party Hosting and Voting 4.1. Host Responsibilities: As a party host, you are responsible for inviting guests. However, you are fully responsible for controlling playback. You must not use DiscoAux while driving or engaging in any activity that requires your full attention. 4.2. Voting: Users attending a party may vote on songs. The song with the most votes will be played through the host's Spotify account. 5. User 5.1. Prohibited Actions: You agree not to engage in any activities that may disrupt or impair the functioning of the Service, including but not limited to spamming, hacking, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems. Any such actions may result in the termination of your access to the Service and legal action as deemed necessary. 5.2. Prohibited Content: You may not submit or upload any User Content that violates any law or infringes upon the rights of any third party. 6. Limitation of Liability You agree that DiscoAux shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. In no event shall DiscoAux's liability exceed one dollar ($1.00). 7. Termination DiscoAux reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time and for any reason, without prior notice. 8. Changes to Terms DiscoAux may modify or update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised Terms on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. 10. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
